Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Arthur Miller (Death of a Salesman, All My Sons, The Crucible) and New York Times cultural writer Mel Gussow, author of Conversations with Miller, will appear together in a program at the Unterberg Poetry Center of the 92nd Street Y on September 22 at 8pm.

The pair will discuss Miller’s acclaimed career; the craft of playwriting; the upcoming East Coast premiere of Miller’s new play, Resurrection Blues; and Miller’s current work in progress, Finishing the Picture.

Resurrection Blues is scheduled to open at the Wilma Theater in Philadelphia on September 17. A satire set in a military-run Latin-American country, it tells the story of a revolutionary leader and a dictator who sells exclusive broadcast rights to his execution to an American television network.
