Jesse Eisenberg, Adam Rapp, Ken Urban Set for Rattlestick Theater Season

The Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced the selections for its 2012-2013 season.
The company will produce Jesse Eisenberg’s The Revisionist, about a struggling writer who travels to Poland to stay with his 73-year-old second cousin, who is a Holocaust survivor, at the Cherry Lane Theatre, February 6-20. The production will be directed by Kip Fagan.
The season will begin with Adam Rapp’s Through the Yellow Hour, about a woman trying to survive an attack on the United States (September 13-28); Jon Fosse’s A Summer Day, translated and directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde (October 10-December 8, Cherry Lane); Ken Urban’s The Correspondent about a man who receives messages from his dying wife, to be directed by Stephen Brackett (March 20-May 4), Mando Alvarado’s Basilica, about a man in South Texas and the newly appointed pastor, directed by Jerry Ruiz (May 1-June 16; Cherry Lane); and Jessica Dickey’s Charles Ives Take Me Home, about a woman whose love of basketball clashes with her father’s passion for music, directed by Daniela Topol (May 29-June 13).
