Memorial for Michael Moody Set for July 19
Moody, who was the Production Manager/Director of Capital Projects for Manhattan Theater Club for nearly 20 years, died on June 10 at age 56.
Born and raised in St Louis, Moody graduated from Webster College with a BA in Theatre Design and later received an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
As a lighting designer and production manager, he worked with Sarah Caldwell’s Opera Company of Boston, the Williamstown Theatre Festival, New York Theatre Workshop, and the Metropolitan Opera, among other institutions.
In 2004, he sustained a critical injury that left him a quadriplegic.
