Brent Bateman, John G. Preston, Therese Barbato, and David Lee Nelson will star in Thomas Ward's new play, Binge, to be presented at the Drilling Company Theatre, July 29-August 8. Adam Knight will direct.

The play is about Doug Barnes (Bateman), who wants to have gastric bypass surgery. But before he can, he has to endure a barrage of personal questions from his surgeon, the matchmaking efforts of his best friend, and an infatuation with the new pizza delivery girl. With two weeks to eat like there's no tomorrow, Doug is forced to confront his insecurities, his vanity, and the true motive behind so-called "self-improvement."

The creative team will include Jonathan Wentz (sets), Kristina Makowski (costumes), and Isabella Byrd (lights).
