LOGO’s Sordid Lives to Have Two Benefit Premieres

LOGO Television’s Sordid Lives: The Series, which will begin airing on July 23, will have two benefit premieres this month: on Tuesday, July 15 at New World Stages in New York, with proceeds going to The Trevor Project; and on Saturday, July 19 at the Director’s Guild of America in Los Angeles, with proceeds going to OUTFEST.
Members of the show’s cast and creative team will attend these events.

Based on Del Shores’ plays, the 12-episode series tells the story of a small town Texas family, focusing on one particular dysfunctional family. The cast includes Rue McClanahan, Olivia Newton-John, Ann Walker, Bonnie Bedelia, Leslie Jordan, Rosemary Alexander. Caroline Rhea, David Steen) David Cowgill, Sarah Hunley, Jason Dottley, Margaret Cho, Carson Kressley, Candis Cayne. Ted Detwiler, Sharron Alexis, Emerson Collins, Robert Lewis Stephenson, Bobbie Eakes, and Georgette Jones. In addition, Newton-John will perform five original songs she has written for the series.
