The Kitchen and CEC ArtsLink, in association with One Big City, present Cežnja: Born Longing (Tales and Songs from Croatia) by singer Abena Koomson and visual artist Kirstina Leko. The performance will take place at The Kitchen on Thursday, July 5 at 7pm. Admission is free.
This multimedia, cross-cultural project promotes interaction and collaboration for those both on and off stage. Cežnja: Born Longing (Tales and Songs from Croatia) includes documentary video, live performances, poetry, beat boxing, and a capella. Artistis include Elana Bell, Zeljka Blaksic, Marcella Bonich, Mahogany Browne, Mirjam Busanich, Rachel Busanich, Sarah Dahnke, Ivica Gasparic, Karma Mayet Johnson, Dara Lazar, Adam Matta, Caitlin Meissner, Lynne Procope, Kate Quarfordt, Allison Schlegel, Margaret Zgombic and Nori Boni Zorovich.
