Pop star and Broadway veteran Sting will join his wife, actress, producer and philanthropist Trudie Styler in Twin Spirits, a special New York performance celebrating the 200th birthday of composer Robert Schumann, to be presented by the Culture Project at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Thursday, June 30, 7:30pm.

Devised and directed for the stage by Tony Award-winner John Caird, the piece is is a poetic meditation on the passionate relationship between composer Robert Schumann (Sting) and wife Clara Wieck (Styler).

Their story is illustrated and interwoven with music composed by Schumann, whose spirit will be embodied by pianist Jeremy Denk, baritone Nathan Gunn and violinist Joshua Bell — and by Wieck, who is evoked by pianist Natasha Paremski, soprano Camille Zamora, and cellist Nina Kotova.

A portion of the proceeds from the performance will benefit the Music Unites Youth Choir, bringing together public high school students from across the five boroughs.

Tickets are $125, or $250 VIP. To purchase or for more information, visit
