Jennifer Ikeda, Debargo Sanyal, Paco Tolson, et al. Set for 2g’s In the Works

Preliminary casting has been announced for Second Generation Productions (2g)’s free-of-charge reading series, In the Works: Experimentation and Play, to be held at DANY Studios at 305 W. 38th Street.

On Tuesday, June 8 at 8pm, Jackie Chung, Sanjit De Silva, Jon Hoche, Mahira Kakkar, Kyle Knaupf, Angela Lin, and Debargo Sanyal will be featured in Rehana Mirza’s Lonely Leela. Meiyin Wang will direct, with puppets by Spica Wobbe.

On Thursday, June 10 at 7pm, Cindy Cheung, Jennifer Graves, Jeffrey C. Hawkins, Nandita Shenoy, and Paco Tolson will be featured in Lyme Park: An Austonian Play of an Indian Nature by Nandita Shenoy, directed by Michael Babin.

On Monday, June 14 at 7pm, Jackie Chung, William Jackson Harper, Jennifer Ikeda, Bobby Moreno, Matt Park, and Jon Norman Schneider will appear in Sharksucker, by Dustin Chinn, directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel.

On Wednesday, June 16 at 8pm, Jon Hoche and Paco Tolson’s Subterranea will feature the playwrights along with Jackie Chung and Erica Swindell. Robert Ross Parker will direct, with additional casting to be annouced.

On Monday, June 21 at 7pm, there will be a reading of Sung Rno’s Happy, featuring Steve Park, Sue Jean Kim, Paul Juhn, and Carla Harting.
