Bill Bateman, MacIntyre Dixon, Juliette Trafton to Join Off-Broadway’s The Fantasticks

Juliette Trafton, Bill Bateman, and MacIntyre Dixon will join the company of The Fantasticks, playing at the Snapple Theatre Center, this summer. The trio will replace, respectively, Kimberly Whalen, Steve Routman, and Scott Willis.

Trafton, who will join the company on June 28, will assume the role of Luisa. The performer’s previous credits include the national tour of The Phantom of the Opera, and The Little Mermaid, in which she played Ariel, for Disney Cruise Lines.

Bateman will begin performances on June 21, playing Bellomy. He has been seen on Broadway in Gypsy, opposite Patti LuPone, as well as Hello, Dolly!, Peter Pan, and Bring Back Birdie.

On July 5, Dixon will return to the role of Henry after a brief hiatus. His Broadway credits include Sly Fox, Beauty and the Beast, Gypsy with Bernadette Peters, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, 1776, and Prelude to a Kiss, among others.

The Fantasticks, with music by Harvey Schmidt and book, lyrics and direction by Tom Jones, also currently features Edward Watts, Erik Altemus, Tom Flagg, Gene Jones, Matt Leisy, Michael Nostrand, and Evy Ortiz.
