Tony Award winner Savion Glover will present PERCUsSiOn DISCUsSiOn, which will inaugurate BleecKer ThingZ, a new jazz and performance series to run on alternate Tuesday nights, starting June 23 at 45 Bleecker Street Theatres.
The series, to be co-hosted by Glover and Marcella Goheen, will feature performances by Marshall Davis, Cartier Williams, BARE SOUNDZ, The Maria Project, and The Hooferz Club, among others.
Glover won the Tony Award for Best Choreography for Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk, in which he also starred. He also appeared on Broadway in The Tap Dance Kid, Black and Blue, and Jelly’s Last Jam.
