Richmond Shepard will direct and star in Ronald Ribman's Cold Storage at the Richmond Shepard Theater, August 6-30.

The play is set on the roof terrace of a New York cancer hospital, and explores life, death, and the irony of existence as the actors play out a game of challenges and revelations.

Shepard, who will play Mr. Parmegian, will be joined by Dan Burkarth, who will play Richard Landau.

Shepard has appeared on over 100 TV shows and in many films as a mime and as an actor; and his stage credits include Our Lady of 121st Street, Counselor at Law, and Travesties.

Ribman's other plays include the Obie award-winning Journey of the Fifth Horse, Harry, Noon and Night, and The Ceremony of Innocence.
