James Earl Jones, Cynthia Nixon, and More to Be Featured at Free Public Forum Event at the Delacorte

Steven Pasquale and Michael Cerveris will also be on hand to discuss Shakespeare in America.

The Public Theater will explore the work of William Shakespeare in the United States with a special free Public Forum event titled Shakespeare in America on Monday, June 30, at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park.

Highlights of the evening will include James Earl Jones returning to the Delacorte to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his playing Othello there, Michael Cerveris reading a letter by John Wilkes Booth (whom he played in Assassins in 2004), and Steven Pasquale singing Tony's part in the "Tonight" duet from West Side Story. Additional performers will include Sarah Amengual, Colman Domingo, Cynthia Nixon, Annie-B Parson, and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Free tickets will be distributed at noon on Monday, June 30, at the Delacorte Theater, with a maximum of two tickets per person. They will also be available via the Public's Virtual Ticketing lottery on the day of the event. The Public Forum is curated by Jeremy McCarter.
