Alison Pill to Join Kathy Bates, Michael Sheen, et al. in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris

Alison Pill will join the cast of Woody Allen’s upcoming film, Midnight in Paris, according to a report in Variety. The movie will begin shooting this summer.

Allen’s romantic comedy follows a family traveling to to the French capital for business. As previously announced, the cast also features Nina Arianda, Kathy Bates, Carla Bruni, Marion Cotillard, Kurt Fuller, Tom Hiddleston, Mimi Kennedy, Rachel McAdams, Michael Sheen, Corey Stoll, and Owen Wilson. Along with the news of Pill’s casting, it has also been announced that Adrien Brody is joining the project.

Pill is currently starring Off Broadway with Edie Falco in This Wide Night. Earlier this season she was seen on Broadway in The Miracle Worker. Among her many other theater credits are Mauritius and The Lieutenant of Inishmore on Broadway and reasons to be pretty off-Broadway. Additional film credits include Milk and Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World.
