Chelsea Morgan Stock will star as Ariel in Broadway’s The Little Mermaid, at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater, beginning June 2. In addition, Drew Seeley will join the cast as Prince Eric for a limited engagement, June 9-August 8.

The musical is based on the Academy Award-winning film and the classic fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The book for the musical is by Doug Wright.

Stock made her Broadway debut with the original company, originating the role of Andrina, one of King Triton’s seven daughters, and understudying the role of Ariel. Seeley, who will be making his Broadway debut, is best known for his role as Joey Parker in Another Cinderella Story, and has also starred as Troy in the tour of High School Musical: The Concert. He is an Emmy Award-nominated singer/songwriter who co-wrote the song “Get’cha Head in the Game” for the High School Musical soundtrack.

Sierra Boggess will play her final performance as Ariel on May 31. Sean Palmer will play Prince Eric through June 7, and then return to the role on September 1. The cast also currently includes Faith Prince as Ursula, Norm Lewis as King Triton, Rogelio Douglas Jr. as Sebastian, Eddie Korbich as Scuttle, Jonathan Freeman as Grimsby, Tyler Maynard as Flotsam, Eric LaJuan Summers as Jetsam, Robert Creighton as Chef Louis, and Trevor Braun and Brian D’Addario alternating as Flounder.
