Brandauer, Reich, Stew, et al. Set for Lincoln Center Opening Nights Festival

Lincoln Center will celebrate the reopening of Alice Tully Hall with its Opening Nights festival, to run February 22-March 8.

The festival will feature a total of 22 events, including programming by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the Film Center of Lincoln Center, the Juilliard School, and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Among the highlights will be the U.S. premiere of the opera Vita Nuova and War and Pieces, a concert of military music and related texts.

Its participants will include singer-songwriter Stew, the Bang on a Can All Stars, award-winning actor Klaus Maria Brandauer, Imogen Cooper, the Emerson String Quartet, Leon Fleischer, Helene Grimaud, Daniel Hope, Glenn Kotche, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Mark Padmore, Steve Reich, and many others.
