Broadway’s Magic/Bird to Hold May 3 Talkback with Cast, Director, and Producers

Fran Kirmser and Tony Ponturo, the producers of the new Broadway play Magic/Bird, will host a talkback for ticketholders following the 8pm evening performance at the show at the Longacre Theater on Thursday, May 3.. They will be joined by director Thomas Kail and the six-person cast to speak with the audience and answer questions.

Magic/Bird chronicles the rivalry, friendship, and intertwined life stories of NBA stars Johnson and Bird, and stars Kevin Daniels as Johnson and Tug Coker as Bird. The company also features Deirdre O’Connell (Georgia Bird/Shelly/Patricia Moore), Peter Scolari (Red Auerbach/Jerry Buss/Pat Riley), Rob Ray Manning, Jr. (Michael Cooper/Henry Alvarado/Frank), and Francois Battiste (Jon Lennox/Ron Baxter/Willy).
