The Broadway production of Nicky Silver's The Lyons will open at the Cort Theatre on Monday, April 23. /p>
Mark Brokaw directs the play, about a family grappling with the impending death of its patriarch. The Broadway production features the entire original cast from its Off-Broadway run at the Vineyard Theatre earlier this year: Michael Esper, Dick Latessa, Linda Lavin, Kate Jennings Grant, Brenda Pressley, and Gregory Wooddell.
Expected guests at the opening include Douglas Carter Beane, Charles Busch, Phil Donahue, Montego Glover, Julie Halston, Edward Hibbert, Michael McKean, Julia Murney, Garrett Neff, Phyllis Newman, Sarah Paulson, Matthew Risch, Marlo Thomas, Michael Urie, Celia Weston, and Josh Young.
