The Broadway production of Peter and the Starcatcher will open at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, April 15.
The play, based on Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling young adult novel about the origin story of Peter Pan, features a script by Rick Elice and is co-directed by Roger Rees and Alex Timbers.
The cast is led by Christian Borle, Celia Keenan-Bolger, and Adam Chanler-Berat, and features Teddy Bergman, Arnie Burton, Matt D’amico, Kevin Del Aguila, Carson Elrod, Greg Hildreth, Rick Holmes, Isaiah Johnson, David Rossmer, Betsy Hogg, Orville Mendoza, Jason Ralph, and John Sanders.
The design team features Donyale Werle (set), Paloma Young (costumes), Jeff Croiter (lighting), and Darron L. West (sound).
Authors Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson are expected to be in attendance, with other guests announced for the opening including Laura Benanti, Susan Blackwell, Heidi Blickenstaff, Jamie Cepero, Will Chase, Gavin Creel, Susie Essman, Tovah Feldshuh, Katie Finneran, Jackie Hoffman, Harvey Keitel, Tom Kitt, Lisa Lampanelli, Debra Messing, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Arian Moayed, Leslie Odom Jr., Laura Osnes, Steven Pasquale, Mo Rocca, Sherie Rene Scott, Brooke Shields, Marisa Tomei, Max von Essen, Benjamin Walker, and B.D. Wong.
