BROADWAY OPENING: Clybourne Park at the Walter Kerr Theatre

Bruce Norris’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Clybourne Park, will open at Broadway’s Walter Kerr Theatre on Thursday, April 19.

Pam MacKinnon directs the play, which examines how a Chicago neighborhood changes over the course of 50 years. The Broadway production features the entire original cast from the play’s Off-Broadway premiere at Playwrights Horizons: Crystal A. Dickinson, Brendan Griffin, Damon Gupton, Christina Kirk, Annie Parisse, Jeremy Shamos and Frank Wood.

The show features sets by Daniel Ostling, costumes by Ilona Somogyi, lighting by Allen Lee Hughes, and sound by John Gromada.

Opening night guests will include Pulitzer Prize winners Edward Albee, Quiara Alegría Hudes, Tom Kitt and Marsha Norman along with first nighters Bob Balaban, Laura Benanti, Daniel Breaker, Bobby Cannavale, Jake Cannavale, Rick Elice, Edie Falco, Ben Feldman, Michael Greif, Bryant and Hilary Gumbel, Moisés Kaufman, Arian Moayed, Richard Nelson, Steven Pasquale, Wendell Pierce, Martha Plimpton, Roger Rees, Salman Rushdie, Johanna Settle, Lois Smith, Paul Sparks, Elaine Stritch, Tamara Tunie, and Pauletta Washington.
