Danielle Lee Greaves, Kate Rockwell, Josh Tower et al. Set for Reading of The Last Word Musical

Amanda Brasher, Briana Davis, Tanesha Gary, Merrill Grant, Danielle Lee Greaves, Sydney James Harcourt, Kevin Smith Kirkwood, Sinclair Mitchell, Tony Perry, Kate Rockwell, Lou Steele, Josh Tower, John Watson, and Curtis Wiley will be featured in a reading of The Last Word: A New Musical, to be presented at Theater Three in New York City, on Tuesday, April 26 at 6pm. John Gould Rubin will direct.

MAC-nominated composer Kevin Ray wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical, with additional book support by Josh Sohn and Suellen Vance. Set in 1940s Los Angeles, it chronicles a family ripped apart by divergent musical movements within the jazz community – swing vs. bop.
