Daniel Abeles, Nick Lawson, Sarah Lemp et al. Set for Jonathan Blitztein’s Squealer

Casting has been announced for the world premiere of Jonathan Blitztein’s Squealer, to be presented as the inaugural production of the new theater company Lesser America at Theater for the New City, May 5-21. Daniel Talbott will direct.

Set in Wauketawnee Lake, USA against the backdrop of recession in the heartland, Squealer follows an ambitious pork farmer who falls in love with the teenage daughter of his old high school flame and believes she’s his ticket out. When he can’t get what he wants, things get bloody.

The cast will include Daniel Abeles, Nick Lawson, Jamie Law, Sarah Lemp, Nate Miller, and Laura Ramadei.
