Kristin Chenoweth to Sing National Anthem at April 13 Yankees Home Opener

Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will sing the National Anthem at the New York Yankees’ home opener at Yankees Stadium on April 13 at 1:05pm. Her performance will be part of a celebration of the team’s 2009 World Championship victory, which will also include a ring ceremony.

Chenoweth is currently starring on Broadway in Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and received the Emmy for her work on Pushing Daisies. Chenoweth, as previously reported, will make a second appearance as April Rhodes on the FOX series Glee this spring.
