Mx. Justin Vivian Bond to Release Silver Wells CD on June 5

Mx. Justin Vivian Bond will release his new CD, Silver Wells, on Tuesday, June 5.
The album is inspired by Joan Didion’s 1970 novel Play It as It Lays and features songs from such artists as Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell, and Bertolt Brecht & Kurt Weill.
The album also features album producer Thomas Bartlett on piano as well as Maxim Moston on viola. In addition, Nico Muhly joins Bartlett for four-hands piano performance by of “Talkin’ about a Revolution.”
Bond will perform selections from his CD during his upcoming engagement at 54 Below, during which he will appear Monday nights, June 4-July 9.
