The York Theatre Company has extended its new production of the musical Yank!, at the company’s Theatre at Saint Peters, by two weeks. The tuner, written by brothers Joseph and David Zellnik, will now close on April 4.

Igor Goldin directs this World War II-era musical about a romantic relationship between two servicemen long before don’t-ask-don’t-tell was part of the national discussion.

The cast stars Bobby Steggert, Nancy Anderson, Jeffry Denman, and Ivan Hernandez; and features Andrew Duran, Zak Edwards, Todd Faulkner, Denis Lambert, Joseph Medeiros, David Perlman, Christopher Ruth, and Tally Sessions.

The production features music direction by John Baxindine, choreography by Jeffry Denman, set design by Ray Klausen, costume design by Tricia Barsamian, and lighting design by Ken Lapham.
