Pacino, Anderson, Chastain Set for Salome in L.A.

The production was previously seen on Broadway in 2003 with Pacino playing King Herod, as he will at the Wadsworth. The actor is a two-time Tony Award winner for Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie? and The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel, and the recipient of an Academy Award for his performance in Scent of a Woman.
Anderson, who will play John the Baptist, has starred on Broadway in Brooklyn the Musical, Orpheus Descending, and Death of a Salesman, for which he received a Tony Award nomination. Chastain, who will play Salome, was last seen Off-Broadway in Rodney's Wife.
