Scott Mason has been named the Honorary Understudy for Dame Edna in the Broadway show All About Me, after winning a contest held on Wednesday morning at the Henry Miller's Theatre.

The contestants were judged on their make-up, costume, accent and "Dame-like demeanor." Judges included Michael Riedel, Frank DiLella, and Michael Musto, along with All About Me's stars Michael Feinstein and Barry Humphries (aka Dame Edna).

All About Me is written by Christopher Durang, Humphries, and Feinstein, and conceived by Feinstein and Humphries, with Lizzie Spender and Terrence Flannery. The cast also includes Gregory Butler, Jodi Capeless, and Jon-Paul Mateo. The show will play Broadway's Henry Miller's Theatre beginning February 22, with an opening on March 18. Casey Nicholaw will direct.
