Michael Cerveris, Jayne Houdyshell, Kate Mulgrew, Jane Powell, et al. Set for Project Shaw St. Patrick’s Day Gala

Kate Baldwin, Michael Cerveris, Jayne Houdyshell, George S. Irving, Charlotte Moore, Kate Mulgrew, Jane Powell, Michael Riedel, Diane Stilwell Weinberg, and Tom Viola will perform in Project Shaw‘s St. Patrick’s Day Gala, to be held at The Players on Wednesday, March 17 at 6pm. David Staller will direct.

The event will feature cast members in scenes and snippets from Shaw’s works, playing all the “wrong” roles — including Cerveris, Mulgrew, and Powell as, respectively, the teenage virgins St. Joan, Cleopatra, and Eliza. The event will also celebrate Anita Jaffe’s birthday and feature Irish musicians, songs, dances, and larks.
