Dashiell Eaves will take over the role of Andrew in Second Stage’s production of Gina Gionfriddo’s Becky Shaw, beginning with the February 10 performance. He replaces Thomas Sadoski, who left to start rehearsals for the Broadway production of reasons to be pretty, in which he stars.

Eaves joins original cast members David Wilson Barnes, Emily Bergl, Kelly Bishop, and Annie Parisse. As previously announced, the production, directed by Peter DuBois, has been extended through March 15.

In the play, a newlywed couple fixes up two romantically challenged friends, but the evening takes a dark turn, with both crisis and comedy ensuing.

Eaves’ Broadway credits include Coram Boy, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, James Joyce’s The Dead, 1776, and The Sound of Music.
