Cole Porter’s “Longing For Dear Old Broadway” and “When All’s Said and Done” will receive their world premiere recordings on bass-baritone Wilfried Van den Brande’s five disc set – The Cole Porter Sessions – now available for digital download. The discs also feature the Nueremberg Symphony Orchestra and the J. Machtel Quartet. Daniel Capelletti has provided the orchestral arrangements.

Among the other 82 tracks on the five discs are such familiar songs as “Begin the Beguine,” “It’s De-Lovely” “C’est Manifique,” “I’m a Gigolo,” “Were Thine That Special Face?,” “After You, Who?” “I Happen to Like New York,” and “Everytime We Say Goodbye.” Among the less well-known songs on the discs are “The Kling-Kling Bird on the Divi-Divi Tree,” “Weren’t We Fools?” “Pilot Me,” and “A Little Skipper From Heaven Above.”

Among Van den Brande’s credits are performances as a soloist with L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Royal Flemish Philharmonic, Nürnberger Symphoniker, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Brussels Philharmonic, Belgian National Orchestra, Real Filarmonia de Galicia, and Heidelberger Philharmoniker. Among his other recordings are an album of French opera arias and So in love – The Great American Songbook.
