Shakespeare scholar Harold Bloom will take part in a public discussion about Shakespeare’s late collaborations with John Fletcher on The Two Noble Kinsmen and the lost play, Cardenio, on Monday, February 7 at 7pm at Classic Stage Company (CSC). Brian Kulick will moderate the event, which will serve as a fundraiser for the theater’s ongoing work.

It is believed that Cardenio is the play on which Double Falsehood is based. In March, CSC will present Double Falsehood, in a minimalist staging, directed by Kulick, which will be augmented with a special expansion of CSC’s popular Open Rehearsal Series as well as a series of panel discussions.

Bloom is the author of such books as Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human and How to Read and Why.
