Michael McKean, Annette O’Toole to Return to TV’s Smallville

Michael McKean and Annette O’Toole will return to their roles of Perry White and Martha Kent, respectively, in the TV series Smallville, according to a report on EW.com. Both actors will appear in this season’s 21st episode.

McKean, who is married to O’Toole, starred on Broadway earlier this season in Superior Donuts, with other Main Stem credits including The Homecoming, Hairspray, and The Pajama Game. He is best known for his film work, including A Mighty Wind, This is Spinal Tap, and The Big Picture, and his television appearances on Saturday Night Live and Laverne & Shirley. O’Toole’s recent theater credits include The Seagull and Kindness Off-Broadway, Magnolia at the Goodman, and The Quality of Life at Arena Stage.
