Bio:
A New York City native, Michael McKean most recently starred on Broadway in Harold Pinter's The Homecoming in 2008, The Pajama Game in 2006 and as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray in 2004. He is a member of the ensemble of actors appearing in many Christopher Guest films, including Best in Show, A Mighty Wind and For Your Consideration. In addition, McKean has had leading roles in many other comedies over his long career, including Coneheads, The Brady Bunch Movie and This is Spinal Tap, which he co-wrote. Also, McKean has had guest spots in a number of television productions including Friends and The X-Files, and is most notably known for the role of Lenny in Laverne and Shirley. He is also an alum of Saturday Night Live. McKean is married to fellow actor Annette O'Toole.
