Swoosie Kurtz to Appear on NBC’s Heroes

Tony Award winner Swoosie Kurtz will appear this season on the NBC drama Heroes as a character named Millie, according to TVGuide.com. No details were announced as to the length of Kurtz’s run in the show.

Kurtz won Tony Awards for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her work in Fifth of July and The House of Blue Leaves. Her many other New York stage credits include Heartbreak House, Frozen, The Mineola Twins, Imaginary Friends, A History of the American FIlm, and Tartuffe.

The actress currently stars in the recently canceled television series Pushing Daisies, which was also created by Heroes‘ Bryan Fuller. She previously starred on the television series Love, Sidney, Sisters, and Huff, and will be seen in the upcoming feature film An Englishman in New York.
