The South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) has announced events to be included as part of its 2011-2012 season.
Among the highlights are concerts featuring Broadway stars Ben Vereen (October 22), Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp (April 14), and Tom Wopat (May 12).
Additional theater-related events will include the Midtown Direct Rep reading series featuring works by Jason Odell Williams, Gary Garrison and Roland Tec, and Pia and Peter Cincotti (October 6-21); comedian Jessica Kirson and Friends (November 5); Baby: The Musical, with book by Sybille Pearson, music by David Shire, lyrics by Richard Maltby, and direction by Professor Peter Reader (March 1-4); and Harvey, by Mary Chase, directed by Professor Deirdre Yates (April 26-29).
