Premiere Stages at Kean University has announced the lineup of plays that will be presented during its annual Spring Readings series, to be offered March 17-20 at University Center Little Theatre. One of the four plays will be selected for a professional staged reading in June, and the most promising play will have a fully produced professional production in July.

The series will include Gabe McKinley’s look at what happens when an army veteran learns his daughter has disappeared in Iraq, Floodplains (March 17); Kait Kerrigan’s examination of a man’s dilemma when confronted with his connection to the death of a Muslim woman, Transit (March 18); James Christy’s exploration of a brother and sister’s search for happiness and independence, Egyptian Song (March 19); and Dominique Morisseau’s portrait of five women in search of a new life, Follow Me to Nellie’s (March 20).
