Broadway stars and real-life couple Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley will headline a benefit for the Axelrod Performing Arts Center, in Deal, New Jersey, on Saturday, February 28.
The event will begin at 7 pm with champagne and hors d’ oeuvres at a pre-theater reception, with the performance at 8:30 pm, followed by a post-performance dessert reception. The gala will also feature an art exhibit preview of the work of Jacob Landau.
Mazzie is a three-time Tony Award nominee for Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime, and Passion. Her other Broadway credits include Monty Python’s Spamalot, Man of La Mancha and Into the Woods. Danieley’s Broadway credits include Curtains, The Full Monty, and Candide, and his other stage credits include South Pacific, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Floyd Collins, Carousel, and The Highest Yellow. The two of them released a CD together, entitled Opposite You.
