Colin Hanks will join previously announced star Bradley Whitford in the new Fox TV series Jack and Dan, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

This 13-episode action-comedy series by Matt Nix is about a by-the-book cop (Hanks), partnered with one who is more of a wild card (Whitford).

Hanks made his Broadway debut last season in 33 Variations. Whitford was last seen on Broadway in Boeing-Boeing.
