Lance Bass to Host American Music Awards; Glee, Lady Gaga, Usher Among Nominees

Broadway veteran and music superstar Lance Bass will host the American Music Awards, which will be broadcast live on ABC from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 21.

Usher, who starred in the Broadway revival of Chicago, received three nominations and is scheduled to perform on the broadcast.

Among the many artists who received nominations are Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, B.o.B., Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Drake, Sade, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Train, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Michael Buble, Shakira, Jason Aldean, and the Black Eyed Peas.

In addition, Glee, The Music: Volume 3 Showstoppers is nominated for Favorite Soundtrack Album, along with AC/DC for Iron Man 2 and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
