Celia Weston, Nathan Lane to Guest Star on ABC’s Modern Family

Tony Award nominee Celia Weston and two-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane will guest star on the Emmy Award-winning hit ABC sitcom Modern Family in the fall, according to TVGuide.com. The series features Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sofia Vergara, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, and Julie Bowen as members of an extended family.

Weston will play the mother of Cameron (played by Stonestreet). She received a Tony Award nomination for The Last Night of Ballyhoo and has also starred on Broadway in Summer and Smoke, Loose Ends, The Lady from Dubuque, and True West.

Lane will play Pepper, a flamboyant friend of Cameron and Mitchell (played by Ferguson).The actor is currently starring on Broadway in The Addams Family and won Tony Awards for his work in The Producers and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
