Comedy legend Rip Taylor celebrated the opening night of his show, It Ain't All Confetti, directed by David Galligan, at the El Portal Theatre on Friday May 21. The show has been extended through June 6.

In this solo show, Taylor puts a humorous and revealing spotlight on a career that has spanned five remarkable decades.

As part of the opening night festivities, he received a proclamation from the City of Los Angeles, presented to him by Councilman LaBonge, and accepted on his behalf by fellow comedy colleagues Judy Tenuta, Rich Little, and Jaime Monroy.

Additional guests at the opening were Gary Collins, Romi Dames, Nancy Dussault, Kathy Griffin, Tania Gunadi, Earl Holliman, Anne Jeffreys, Ruta Lee, Kate Linder, Mary Ann Mobley, Julie Newmar, Margaret O'Brien, Susan Olsen, Alex Trebeck, Dick Van Patten, Bruce Vilanch, Dee Wallace, and JoAnne Worley.
