Dick Van Dyke and Jerry Van Dyke to Star in The Sunshine Boys as Malibu Stage Company Fundraiser

Brothers Dick and Jerry Van Dyke will perform in Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys as a fundraiser for Malibu Stage Company, April 13-17.

The play is about a vaudeville duo that agrees to reunite for a television special, but it turns out they can’t stand each other.

Dick Van Dyke won the Tony Award for the original production of Bye Bye Birdie. He also starred in a revival of The Music Man. He starred in the movie musicals Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, as well as television versions of the plays The Country Girl and The Gin Game. His numerous other film and television credits include The Dick Van Dyke Show, Fitzwilly, The Comic, Diagnosis: Murder, and Night at the Museum.

Jerry Van Dyke is an actor and comedian who got his start on his older brother’s The Dick Van Dyke Show. Among his film and television credits are Coach, McLintock!, and Yes, Dear.
