Brendan Fraser to Star in Whole Lotta Sole Movie

Brendan Fraser will star in Whole Lotta Sole, according to a report in Variety. Terry George is directing the project, which is using a script he has written with Thomas Gallagher.

The movie centers on what happens when a young man’s attempts to rob a fish shop in order to pay off a gambling debt go comically awry as a hostage situation develops. Fraser will portray the shopkeeper, who just happens to be on the run from his gangster father-in-law.

Fraser appeared on Broadway earlier this season in Elling and has starred onstage in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Among his film credits are The Mummy, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Gods and Monsters.
