Woody Allen, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Chastain, Jessica Lange Among Saturn Award Nominees

The nominations for the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films’ 38th annual Saturn Awards have been announced, and include numerous stage veterans. The prizes will be presented in a ceremony to be held on June 20.

The awards recognize excellence in both film and television. Among the Best Actor film nominees are Antonio Banderas for The Skin I Live In, Dominic Cooper for The Devil’s Disciple, Ben Kingsley for Hugo, and Michael Shannon for Take Shelter.

Among the nominees in the Best Actress category are Jessica Chastain for Take Shelter and Keira Knightley for A Dangerous Mind. Additionally, Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman, and Stanley Tucci have been nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category.

Other film nominees include Woody Allen and John Logan, nominated in the Best Writing category for Midnight in Paris and Hugo, respectively.

Among the nominees for Best Actor on Television are Sean Bean for Game of Thrones, Michael C. Hall for Dexter, and Dylan McDermott for American Horror Story The Best Actress on Television nominees include Mireille Enos for The Killing, Jessica Lange for American Horror Story, and Eve Myles for Torchwood: Miracle Day .

Other television nominees include Lauren Ambrose, Frances Conroy, Bill Pullman, and Zachary Quinto.
