David Burtka, Neil Patrick Harris, Stacy Keach, Noah Wyle, et al. to Honor OPC Award Winner Jon Robin Baitz

The Ojai Playwrights Conference will honor playwright Jon Robin Baitz at its benefit gala,Substance of Desire, which will begin at 5:30pm on Saturday, March 26 at the Matilija Auditorium and then continue at St. Thomas Aquinas Hall with dinner and the 2011 OPC Awards. Proceeds from the Benefit will benefit the Ojai Playwrights Conference.
Participants at the event will include David Burtka, Neil Patrick Harris, Jane Kaczmarek, Stacy Keach, Ron Rifkin, Steven Weber, and Noah Wyle. The event will be co-directed by Robert Egan and Michael Morris.
Baitz will be honored with the 2011 OPC Award for his contribution to American theatre. His newest play, Other Desert Cities, was read for the first time in Ojai at the 2010 Summer New Works Festival.
His other plays include The Substance of Fire, The Paris Letters, Ten Unknowns and A Fair Country, and he also created the hit TV series, Brothers & Sisters.
