Michelle Duffy, Greg Evigan, Micheal Lanning, and Allen E. Read will lead a cast of 20 in the Pasadena Playhouse world premiere production of Mask, March 12 - April 20. Richard Maltby, Jr. will direct.

Featuring a book by Anna Hamilton Phelan, music by Barry Mann, and lyrics by Cynthia Weil, and based on the Universal motion picture of the same name, Mask is a musical based on the true story of an unusual looking boy and his unconventional biker mother.

Duffy will return to the Playhouse as Rusty after her 2007 Ovation Award-winning performance in Can-Can. Evigan, Lanning, and Read will all make their Playhouse debuts as, respectively, Gar, Dozer, and Rocky.

The cast will also include Alec Barnes, Brad Blaisdell, Katy Blake, Ryan Castellino, Diane Delano, Chris Fore, Sarah Glendening, Krysten Leigh Jones, Mark Luna, Heather Marie Marsden, Shanon Mari Mills, Suzanne Petrela, Ethan Le Phong, Jolene Purdy, James Leo Ryan, and Matthew Stocke.

The creative team will include Robert Brill (set design), Joseph Church (music direction), Peter Fitzgerald and Carl Casella (sound design), Maggie Morgan (costume design), Barry Mann (arrangements), and David Weiner (lighting design).
