Lyric Theatre Announces 2011 All-Musical Season

The Lyric Theatre, located on N. La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles, has announced its 2011 season, comprised of three musicals.

The season will kick off with the Los Angeles premiere of Dan Goggin’s Nunsensations! – The Nunsense Vegas Revue (February 11-March 13), to be directed by Amy Rowell. Next up will be the West Coast premiere of Lust ‘n Rust, The Trailer Park Musical (April 1-30) by Frank Haney, Carol Kimball & Dave Stratton, which will be directed by Thomas Colby. The season will conclude with the rarely produced Jerry Herman musical, Dear World (May 20-June 19), based on the Jean Giraudoux play The Madwoman of Chaillot. Colby will once again direct.
