Mario Lopez and Krysta Rodriguez Join Hollywood Bowl's Chorus Line

The musical will hit California this summer.

Additional casting has been announced for the Hollywood Bowl‘s upcoming production of A Chorus Line, which will run for three performances only on July 29, 30, and 31. The show will be directed and choreographed by Baayork Lee, who appeared as Connie Wong in the original Broadway cast and choreographed the Broadway revival in 2006.

The company will now include A Chorus Line Broadway vets Mario Lopez as Zach and Krysta Rodriguez as Diana Morales, as well as Sarah Bowden as Cassie Ferguson and Courtney Lopez as Kristine Ulrich.

They join fellow Broadway revival stars Mara Davi and Jason Tam as Maggie Winslow and Paul San Marco as well as Sabrina Bryan (The Cheetah Girls) as Valerie Clark, Robert Fairchild (An American in Paris) as Mike Costa, Spencer Liff (Falsettos) as Larry, Ross Lynch (Teen Beach Movie) as Mark Anthony, Denis Lambert (Doctor Zhivago) as Gregory Gardner, J. Elaine Marcos (Annie) as Connie Wong, and Leigh Zimmerman (Chicago) as Sheila Bryant. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, A Chorus Line has a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, and lyrics by Edward Kleban.

A Chorus Line will be conducted by Patrick Vaccariello and have choreography adapted and restaged by Baayork Lee, from the original by Michael Bennett.
