The actor – who appeared Off-Broadway in Venus in Fur and who is best known for his film roles in American Beauty and The Hunger Games – will be playing a teacher in this movie that chronicles the early years of Abraham Lincoln's life.

The film cast also includes Jason Clarke, Diane Kruger, and Brit Marling. A.J. Edwards is both writer and director for the project, which is produced by Terrence Malick.
