Whitford is best known for his television roles on The West Wing, for which he won an Emmy, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, The Good Guys, and The Mentalist. His Broadway credits include A Few Good Men and Boeing Boeing.

Also at Pasadena Playhouse, Robin Givens will play the role of Angel in Pearl Cleage's Blues for an Alabama Sky, to be directed by Sheldon Epps and perform November 1 - 27, with an opening on November 6.

The actress played Darlene Merriman on the ABC series Head of the Class, with additional film and television credits including The Women of Brewster Place, Boomerang, Tyler Perry's House of Payne, and Burn Notice. Her stage credits include playing the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago.
