The Rainmaker, N. Richard Nash's romantic comedy now playing at Santa Monica's Edgemar Center for the Arts, has announced that it will be extending its run through August 31 due to popular demand.

The Rainmaker follows a woman named Lizzie, who lives on a farm with her brothers and father during the Dust Bowl era and dreams of a husband and children of her own. Jack Heller directs Tanna Frederick (Just 45 Minutes From Broadway) as Lizzie and Robert Standley (National tour of Cotton Patch Gospel) in the role of Starbuck, as well as featured cast members Benjamin Chamberlain, David Garver, Ralph Guzzo, Steve Howard, and David Stanbra.
